Fitting a Strolz Ski Boot
The process of fitting a Strolz ski boot begins with an extensive measurement of your feet. We use our Sidas 3D scanner for this, which we also utilize for regular boot fittings. Then, we analyze your foot scan in our specially designed Strolz boot fitting area.
Once your feet have been thoroughly measured in our Strolz boot fitting area, your data is sent to the Strolz factory in Lech. There, they start creating a wooden last. Using various techniques, a copy of your feet is made. This wooden last is then used to custom stretch the shell, the outer part of the ski boot. The shells are still made in the Alps to meet high quality standards.
When the shell of your Strolz ski boots is ready, it is sent back to us. Please note that it takes about 2 weeks to receive your shell after we have measured your feet. Once we have received your shell, we start working on the inner boots. The inner boots are made 100% custom with two-component foam. The foaming process itself takes about 10 minutes. However, the shoe must then cure for an additional 12 hours before you can hit the slopes. You will be amazed at the incredibly precise fit and the control you experience over your skis!
